MAMC is capable of performing basic CAD drafting to complex 3D modeling. Typical examples of our 2D drawings are illustrations of construction sequences and asbuilt/existing conditions relative to the work and structures. Clients have used our 3D models to convey construction means and methods concepts, material clash/conflicts, and to simulate real-world conditions relative to proposed geometry. We can also generate 3D digital terrain models of the proposed final grade, interim layers, and existing surfaces for use in machine control systems commonly used on excavators, dozers, and cranes.
For our dredging partners, we understand dredge templates are becoming more complex to optimize the material being dredged and minimize over-runs in the Owner’s quantities and budget. Often the engineer’s templates do not translate well from the contract drawings to the dredge positioning system. MAMC has experience with many different CAD and positioning systems enabling us to convert practically any engineer’s dreamed-up surface to a format that can be utilized as the design template/channel in your dredge positioning system.
